Patient Condition
MSA-P, progressive parkinsonism for 22 months with poor L-dopa response. Severe nocturnal stridor, orthostatic hypotension, and rapidly progressive motor dysfunction. UMSARS-I 24, UMSARS-II 29, SCOPA-AUT 23. Enrolled in neural stem cell clinical trial.
Treatment Timeline
| Phase | Details | Date |
| Clinical trial enrollment | | |
| neural stem cell transplantation | | |
| postoperative follow-up | | |
Treatment Outcome
| before | UMSARS-I 24 points, UMSARS-II 29 points, CSF NfL 92pg/mL, severe nocturnal wheezing |
|---|
| after | UMSARS-I improved to 22 points, UMSARS-II improved to 26 points, CSF NfL dropped to 68pg/mL (26% decrease), and night wheezing was reduced |
|---|
| highlight | Neural stem cell transplantation combined with immunosuppression significantly improved motor function. The decrease in NfL suggested that neurodegeneration was slowed down and night wheezing was significantly improved. |
