Patient Condition
MSA-C, progressive cerebellar ataxia for 20 months with orthostatic hypotension, constipation, and RBD. UMSARS-I 20, UMSARS-II 24, SCOPA-AUT 17. MRI showed marked cerebellar and pontine atrophy. Enrolled in MSC clinical trial.

Treatment Outcome
| before | UMSARS-I 20 points, UMSARS-II 24 points, cerebrospinal fluid NfL 85pg/mL, cerebellum and pons atrophy significantly |
|---|
| after | UMSARS-I improved to 18 points, UMSARS-II improved to 21 points, cerebrospinal fluid NfL dropped to 62pg/mL (27% decrease), and MRI showed a slowdown in atrophy |
|---|
| highlight | UC-MSC treatment significantly reduced levels of the neurodegenerative biomarker NfL, significantly improved UMSARS score, and MRI showed a slowdown in disease progression. |
