Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Patient Condition
The patient visited the hospital due to dry cough and shortness of breath after exercise, and had no history of smoking. HRCT showed lattice shadows and honeycomb changes in the outer periphery of both lungs. Lung function: FVC 67% predicted, DLCO 54% predicted. 6MWD 410m, mMRC score 2. IPF was diagnosed (GAP score 3, stage I).
