Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Patient Condition
The patient sought medical treatment due to dry cough and shortness of breath after exercise, and had a history of smoking (10 pack years). HRCT showed grid shadows and honeycomb changes in both lungs. Lung function: FVC 66% predicted, DLCO 52% predicted. 6MWD 390m, mMRC score 2. Early diagnosis of IPF.
