Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Patient Condition
The patient was treated for progressive dyspnea for 2 years and had no history of smoking. HRCT showed honeycomb lungs in both lungs. Lung function: FVC 50% predicted, DLCO 35% predicted. 6MWD 270m, mMRC score 3. IPF was diagnosed (GAP score 5, stage II).
