Treatment Outcome

beforeFVC accounted for 45% of predicted value, DLCO accounted for 28% of predicted value, 6MWD 230m, mMRC score 4, GAP score 6 (Phase III)
afterAfter 24 months of treatment, FVC accounted for 40% of the predicted value (annual decline rate was approximately 2.5%), DLCO accounted for 23% of the predicted value, 6MWD was 220m, and mMRC score was 4
highlightTreatment with Nintedanib can still effectively delay progression in elderly patients with advanced IPF, with an annual decline rate lower than natural disease. Palliative treatment improves quality of life.
