Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
Patient Condition
The patient visited the hospital due to dry cough and shortness of breath after exercise, and had no history of smoking. HRCT showed grid shadows and a few honeycomb changes on the outer periphery of both lungs. Lung function: FVC 68% predicted, DLCO 52% predicted. 6MWD 400m, mMRC score 2. IPF was diagnosed (GAP score 3, stage I).
