Heart Failure (HF)
Patient Condition
End-stage DCM, LVEF 18%, NYHA class IV, and pulmonary hypertension. Due to its small size and high sensitizing antibodies (PRA>80%), it is difficult to match heart transplantation, and LVAD is used as destination treatment (DT).
Treatment Timeline
| Phase | Details | Date |
|---|---|---|
| DT Strategy Evaluation | ||

| Long-term DT Management |
Treatment Outcome
| before | LVEF 18%, NYHA class IV, pulmonary arterial systolic blood pressure 65mmHg, unable to perform daily activities |
|---|---|
| after | After LVAD support, NYHA class II, pulmonary artery pressure dropped to 40mmHg, allowing independent daily activities |
| highlight | Targeted treatment of LVAD in highly sensitized patients was successful, and pulmonary arterial hypertension was significantly improved |
