Treatment Outcome
| before | Hilar cholangiocarcinoma type III, CA19-9 850 U/mL, bilirubin 185 μmol/L, tumor 3.5 cm, no surgery, very poor prognosis |
|---|---|
| after | R0 radical surgery was successful, and he survived disease-free 24 months after surgery. CA19 -9 was normal, liver function was normal, and he returned to normal life. |
| highlight | Transformation treatment achieves tumor reduction, from unresectable to R0 surgical resection, and survives disease-free for 24 months after surgery, providing patients with advanced bile duct cancer with a chance of radical treatment. |
