Patient Condition
The patient developed weakness in both lower limbs since the age of 51, and was diagnosed with ALS (limb onset) at the age of 52. At the time of diagnosis, ALSFRS-R was 33, FVC was 74%, and both lower limb muscle strength was grade 3+. The progress rate is moderate (0.9 points per month). Enrolled into a clinical trial of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC).
