Patient Condition
The patient developed right lower limb weakness and muscle fascicle fibrillation at the age of 39, and was diagnosed with ALS (limb onset type) at the age of 40. At the time of diagnosis, ALSFRS-R was 39, FVC was 88%, and right lower limb muscle strength was grade 4. Progress is slow (0.4 points per month). The prognosis is relatively good when starting at a young age.
