Patient Condition
The patient began to experience mild memory loss in early 2023 and often forgot recent events and appointments. A comprehensive evaluation was performed at Mayo Clinic, with an MMSE score of 22 (mild cognitive impairment), cerebrospinal fluid examination showed a decrease in Aβ42, an increase in tau protein, and positive amyloid PET. Early Alzheimer's disease was diagnosed. The patient has a family history and her mother had AD.
