Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA)
Patient Condition
The 58-year-old patient was diagnosed with hilar cholangiocarcinoma (Bismuth type IV), which was unresectable. It progressed after 6 cycles of first-line gemcitabine + cisplatin chemotherapy and progressed again after 3 cycles of second-line FOLFOX. At the time of diagnosis, CA19 -9 was 560 U/mL, total bilirubin was 280 μmol/L, multiple intrahepatic metastases, and ECOG score was 2.
